About our unique coffee

Our coffee has had a special journey. It comes from a small roastery called High Mountain Coffee, which is based in the heart of Lower Austria. Why did we choose this roastery? The answer lies in their dedication and passion for excellent coffee. Their commitment to quality and expertise convinced us, and so began our journey of creating the two unique coffees we want to share with you.

Two very unique speciality roasts were created for us: The Italian and the Viennese. These coffees are special in their own way and are roasted exclusively for us. The Italian is characterised by chocolaty and nutty notes, while the Viennese offers a harmonious combination of caramel and fruit. This variety of flavours is the result of a careful selection of coffee beans from different regions, including Brazil, India, Costa Rica, Peru and Nicaragua.

What makes these coffees so unique is not only their exceptional flavour, but also the love and care that is put into their growing, roasting and creation. The beans are roasted gently and with great dedication by hand. Each variety is given its own, specially adapted roasting profile, which brings out the nuances of flavour and ensures unique coffee moments.

But our coffee means much more to us. “Lebenshilfe Austria” is an important part of our history. Thanks to a partnership with “Lebenshilfe Niederösterreich”, our coffee beans are packaged and labelled by the residents and assisted persons in Sollenau. This cooperation not only gives them the opportunity to participate in our production, but also to be paid fairly for their work. Every cup of coffee you enjoy with us supports this valuable collaboration and helps people with intellectual disabilities to find a valued place in society.
